    Yes I did actually notice that it said August, that is what was available for download previous to October so I figure that was valid until they changed it?

    I can verify the trouble tickets / questions / BGP simlet that is not for paid members are the same and correct from what I got on my exam, I don’t believe all these paid memberships are needed if you study enough / sit exam once to get the kinks out / review the material like I have here.

    Passed Today ….for my Recert in Troubleshooting – It was harder than before. Before I got a perfect score. This time it just passed. Labs are on Point. I got BGP SIM / And prettty much all the labs. Study MPP / GRE and IPSEC ….Enjoy ……Some MCQ are not on this site so STUDY.

    Also passed today by a slim margin, lots of IPv6 trouble tickets not on this site, some new / differently worded MCQ.

    If you do not know your material, you should go fail the exam to see where you need improve, study your ass off for a week and take it again ASAP. Repeat until Pass.

    Also almost all trouble tickets / MCQ / Simlets here are very similar to the exam, but it is really only a base of knowledge, you just need to study and understand how / why things work or you will more than likely fail the exam.

    I had multiple trouble tickets, same exact issue / fix, place in different parts of the network (where as on here it will only list the issue as one trouble ticket on a specific device).

    Studying is a must to pass the current TSHOOT in my opinion after barely passing it.

    Passed the exam just now. Premium still worth it!
    Thank God, Networktut and everyone’s inputs that helped me in my preparation.
    – no DnD
    – BGP simlet
    – All MCQs I got are from Sept update. One of which is IPV6 ACL preventing SSH from R3 to R2, I believe I selected – 30, the ‘sh ip ssh’, duplex mismatch, tun0 down due to recursive routing, ipV4 ACL (change to 192.168.0.0 0.0.255.255)
    – All TTs are from this site (some of the options for the solutions are rephrased, read them carefully)

    Exactly what JTS said, mine also had an IPSec config example with “What will the “sh cry ipsec sa” output be?

    It has 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0/0/0, same with /47/0, another with the tunnel Src and dest, host mask with /47/0

    Just enough different to cause a fail if you rely solely on dumps, I found some trouble tickets seemed to have multiple possible issues and had to guess the most likely (kind of like the ACL from August MCQ that doesn’t have the correct subnet but covers the host address so its correct enough)

    @Chuo the SSH ACL is asking which line blocks it, there is only one line that is deny tcp (ip) eq 22 in the ACL so it’s pretty easy to spot.

    @Hello2, there are new TT that are not on here? I thought everyone is saying that the TT did not change but the MCQs did. I took it a week ago and the TT were the same as here, is that no longer the case?

    Passed Now on to Security Before Feb 24th, Have the Nuggets for the CCNP Security …anyone know of a site like 9tut for for CCNP Security ?

    Oh yeah The MCQ’s were all different.. Most were on MPP, GRE Tunnel Outputs, Much harder than the first time I took it. In 2016 I got a perfect score 1000 yesterday I pass by 20 point. And it was all the MCQ’s ( my labs were Perfect ) I think I had like 12 or 15 MCQ’s to get my score I probably got Half wrong. And I studied “ALL” the questions on this page for 2 weeks.

    Yeah I know the feeling. Like I said the Labs were perfect. Nothing to worry about with the labs. Even the IP’s were the same …so the same way u work them to study …You can work them to solve the Exam. However the MCQ’s were a bit harder for me. I expected to see exact questions. There were like 7 of the 15 that got that were “gimmies” ( easy ) …The other 8 were new. I had to think about them. I mean I did good enough to pass. But like I said I was disappointed in my score. I wish I could remember the questions but like I said the were new

    What will the “sh cry ipsec sa” output ?
    There was in IPv6 Access list question ( I know I got wrong )

    You can pass with just the knowledge on this page – and the labs, but your score wont be as high as expected. I know some people just wanna pass, I was trying to pass with a perfect score again. I got all my labs first which put me on a roll. Then when the MCQ came I was like ” I don’t remember this IPV6 access list questions, I don’t remember this show Cyrpto IPSEC Out …there were another 5 that I had no Idea ….Also the questions that have EXIBIT….They there me off…..I was so used to studying without the EXIBIT that when I saw them I was like ….What the ? …then looked at the question and realized this was the Missing Exit bit on 9tut ( if you know what I mean )

    after looking at the questions again ….The latest questions are good.
    Must have been studying so much on the other questions that the ones at the top
    of the page i kinda ignored …thinking i would not get them ..( DUMB) i know …ROCK on study the latest questions.

    From what i read premium membership worth’s it. If you think about it is better to give 20$ today than resitting the exam and spend another 300$!! Besides all we support the networktut guys who spend so much time to keep this page up-to-date.

    Anyways… a question to people who took the exam recently, did you get any older MCQ i.e from June or April updates?

    NO!!. I finally passed today on second trial. All the questions are from the latest update. However, you need to understand the concept, some questions are worded differently from here.
    Premium is still worth it.
    I am not coming to comment here again so won’t be answering any questions.

    Thanks to NetworkTut. Premium membership is worth for every single penny.

    All MCQs were from latest Sep update here. I dunno why networktut uploaded all updates in here which usually only premium members can see.

    Just buy premium and be happy.

    Like Sky and others have said (including me), the MCQ here gives you a good baseline for what will be asked, but there are enough MCQ in there that may be brand new to fail the exam, so studying is just absolutely necessary.

    You need to know how to read IPv6 ACL’s, if a protocol is TCP / UDP / IP, how to look at output and be able to provide an answer as to what is true from it.

    No paid subscription is going to replace being able to answer those questions with knowledge, I’ve been studying for years / network engineer for almost a decade and barely passed.

    Also I did get new trouble tickets, I got 5 IPv6 trouble tickets I believe, BGP simlet, 6 other TT, and 10-11 MCQ related to MPP / uRPF / VPN Technologies.

    Had this one guy named Matty on here seriously asked what the command was to show the configuration….. People like that bring disgrace to the certification and make it worth less.

    As a current CCNP person I would advise going to CBTnuggets and doing there free 7 day trial and getting familiar with the technologies on this exam. It is best to understand the concept rather then the answer is “B”. It is best to know why or why not the answer is “B”. I come here for the good resource but I have also found that some of the answers on here are not correct and Networktut has changed the answer because of these findings.

    @CCNP_Champ, i agree with you. I know i missed questions just because i didnt know what they were asking, in relation to the technology. I think i found the website https://www.cbtnuggets.com/it-training/cisco-training. Can you confirm? Also is it pretty easy to stop and not get charged past the week?

    @Gypsy, yes it is, once you create your profile go into your account settings and uncheck the box that says something like “do not charge after 7 day trial”. That will keep them from charging you after the free trial is over if that is what you want. I know they are pretty pricey for a monthly subscription and in my opinion unless all you are doing is chasing certs and knowledge every month then I would just pay per use and not per month.

    Just some FYI for question Question 2 on Sept updates and why it is port 1723. “Port 1723 is mostly used for the PPTP and PPTP VPN (Virtual Private Networking) protocols. These protocols exchange information between multiple devices and applications. For example, if a user wishes to access a server from his/her personal computer in a separate location and a firewall protects that server, the user will need to enable a PPTP VPN between the two devices.” It is always best to understand why something is rather then it is this because someone said it is.

    Just took the exam and failed by one question!! :'( 10 TT, 1 BGP Sim and 13 MCQ. 10 MCQ from September update and the others still don’t know. I screw it, I was over confident and I lost in a stupid way. I’ll take it again in 1 week. The SAM method works very well, but be careful with Port Security ticket, the ports were UP instead.

    @Sekt, for the port-security ticket all you have to do is just check if the interface is up, “sh ip int br”, if the interface is up then it is not port-security. If it is down then yes it is port-security. Another way of checking if it is or isn’t port-security is by checking the interfaces themselves with ” sh int fa1/0/1″ and that will show you if the port is in err-disable state. If it is then it is port-security if not then keeping troubleshooting.

    @Anonymous, Sept: “#1-12” except 7, March: “#10” and another one brand new that can’t remember. The MCQ were the reason I didn’t pass, so be careful, all TT’s were Ok and the SIM too, but I forgot the questions :( MCQ are important too.
