Ticket 17 – Switchport Encapsulation

April 20th, 2018 Go to comments

On ASW1:

interface fa1/0/1
 switchport access vlan 10
 switchport mode trunk
 switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
interface fa1/0/2
 switchport access vlan 10
 switchport mode trunk
 switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q

Answer:

Ans1) ASW1
Ans2) Access VLANs
Ans3) In configuration mode, use ‘interface range fa1/0/1-2’ then ‘switchport mode access’, then ‘no switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q’

Note: In this ticket Client 1 still receives the IP address allocated from the DHCP server as the port it is connected is configured in trunking mode which accepts traffic sent from the DHCP server in VLAN 10.

Hi All, I have passed Tshoot exam today with 1000/1000. Nov MCQs questions, simlets and tickets are all valid! NO new questions or tickets. To narrow down issue I normally ping 209.65.200.241 from R1, then R2>>>R3>>>R4>>>DSW1>>>Client & do ipconfig on client ping client IP 10.2.1.3 from DSW >>>R4 >>>R3 >>>R2>>>R1.

I had premium account, after spending 4 hours I booked exam. CCNP route is theory, CCNP TSHOOT is practical and very easy.
