Were the IP addresses the exact same for you?

Took the exam for the 2nd time and I am glad to announce that I have passed.

    *47 question with 4 labs

**As for the questions it was pretty weird to say the least. I had no Drag and Drops which was unexpected. Seem like 10 to 12 new questions. The exam I took had a lot of AAA questions.

***The four labs I had was IPSEC 1, SNMP 2, VRF, but the 4th was the Access List Sim but it was really weird. 1st Task make sure SW2 had AAA configured. 2nd Task correct the ACL in the West Router but what made it so confusing is that they had sub task to the 2nd task stating (dont take this word for word because it was weird to read to) act like the ISP is provided DHCP and DNS, then gave a website address, and wanted you to correct the ACL with that information being allowed to reach SW2. Personally I just configured the AAA on SW2 copy run start then went to the next question. So I only fully completed 3 labs.

As for networktut, the site is legit it really gives you a bunch of questions that you will see on the exam. But still learn the information because if you had as many new questions as me best believe that information helped alot. Honestly I think I got lucky with the labs cause all of mine were the easy ones.

Good luck everyone, if you fail once dont give up try again. ***Advice if you can try a week or two later***

Congratulations on passing the exam! :)
Can you answer us whether ? and auto-complete are possible in the labs?

    Thanks

  4. NetworkPlug
    March 29th, 2024

@Kev auto complete is possible in the labs. Also when you do the labs you should “show run” all devices because if you forget how to do a configuration there is a good chance one of the devices may have it already. For example, even though I did not complete the AAA and Login lab, one of the other devices had AAA configured so it actually helped me get some points instead of just 0 for the lab.

So if you have the DMVPN lab and you forget some configurations if the hub is already configured use the “show run” on the hub to see if it helps you remember the configs on the spokes. I know there are a few extra commands with the spokes but it may jumpstart your memory.

Are there still questions appearing in exams from New ENARSI Questions – Part 1 through New ENARSI Questions – Part 4?

  7. Morningstar
    March 30th, 2024

@Pol : Study all the 7 parts and practise composite test atleast 10 times by scoring above 90%. That should suffice. 90% questions in the exams are from these 7 parts, rest 10% are new but you can answer them if you’re good with the other 90% questions.

    47 questions 4 labs.

Login & ACL . Tasks the same.
I was confused with this lab.
There was already aaa new model activated , “aaa authentication login group CONSOLE none, username….. password cisco and on vty 0 4 was configured the aaa authentication login group CONSOLE none.
The first thing i did was to make another aaa authentication login VTY local ,remove the CONSOLE group add the new one,add transport input telnet but it didn’t work.
On line console 0 i add the CONSOLE group .
So i remove aaa new model and follow the networktut solution.
Regarding the RFC1918 same as here on both routers.
    Perhaps i missed something.
I didn’t have time to check it so i pressed the next button.

DMVP 2 Small change .There was “ip ospf network broadcast” on hub and on spokes. I add everything requested, the ping from pc1 to pc2 pc3 was ok so i didn’t do anything with with the “ip ospf network broadcast”

    VRF. Same here

REDISTR/PBR version 1. Different ips. There were access lists standard, access lists extended and route-maps already configured.
On access lists 110 and 120 there were deny statements first and then permit.
ip access-list deny 110 deny ip host 172.16.6.6 host 10.2.22.5
ip access-list permit 110 permit ip host 172.16.6.6 any.
The same on access list 120 so i did’t do anything on access-list
    You know the rest.
    One traceroute didn’t work.

    1 new question.

    I passed.

    i believe i answered all the questions correctly,2 labs 100% DMVP + VRF.The login Lab about 30% and the Redistr 90 %.

    @Kavlos

So did you pass or not? Did you have completely different IP addresses on the PBR/ Red lab?

  12. Kavlos
    April 2nd, 2024

    @LooserDragon.

    Yes i passed.

    Not completely.
    172.16.x.x was the same
    10.0.0.8 instead of 10.0.56.6.
The SP ips were different . i don t remember
In my case there were 3 standard lists and 3 extended lists + 110 +120
110 had deny statements also 120.
    On R3 R4 there were distance 255 so i removed them and default metric 1 1 1 1 1
I ping R6 from R1 and vice versa i saw that it was ok so i left default metric as it was
On R3 the was redistribution ospf but without metrics. So i replaced it with metrics.

Thanks to this team. I passed my exam yesterday with some minor changes to the simlets and about three new questions. May be they are the non-scoring Qs but 99% of the MCQs are the same. my labs were VRF, PBR & Redistribution, IPsec and the ACL. I am confident that I did 3 well and was not able to complete the ACL but still got a pass cos I scored more than 93% in the 3 categories. My printed result stated pending overall and pending on the layer 3 technologies. After a review, i received an email this morning that it was a pass. I want to express my sincere thanks and apprecition to the Networktut team. I doff my heart to your team for all the support. My next challenge is the SDWAN… Good luck to all using this site for their exam preparation.

Sat for the exam, total 51 questions and 4 labs. A lot of new questions on ipv6, cisco DNA. and roughly three drag and drops (MPLS). The labs included
    1. SNMP config sim – Exactly as here
    2. VRF – Exactly as here
    3. DMVPN 2 – tunnels pre-configured but the spoke had tunnel destinations. Task is configure authentication “Ci$c0123” and confirm connectivity.
    4. Access-list Sim – This lab is completely different, you need to configure West router with a username and password, edit the existing aaa authentication to permit telnet using the local database. Also edit a pre-existing acl to achieve a time range ping towards router East.

Failed the test today. Alot of the questions are from here quite a few that was not in here.

    Labs I had:
    VRF (same as in here)
    IPsec (same as here)
Redistribute and PBR (same as here. the 2nd one)
Access-list SIM (same topology but different task, didnt get to finish it as Iran out of time)

I took too long on these SIMs and 2 of them I could not finish because my time was running out. Had like 20 mins left with like35 questions left. back to the drawing board. Please learn these labs from top to bottom because you will have to adjust some things.

Which question part is most necessary to read.

  18. Phlippo
    April 8th, 2024

    Failed yesterday.
About 10-15 new Question. I think it´s not enough time for so much big labs. You have no time to think about the tasks.
    Labs:
Access-List but different as her. Just broke up cause of time
    VRF same as her
Redistribution & PBR Sim – think was the same like here but my pings at the end doesn´t work.
DMVPN Configuration Sim – same but ipsec prifile was different.

So i think i got 2 Labs 100% and the other about 80-90% but still do not pass.
It´s very heavy. So make sure guys you can do the labs 100% befor take the exam.

Just found out about this site! I need to recertify by the 26th, do you think 10-12 days is enough time based on your experience to attempt?
    Thanks in advance

Good luck to everyone studying for this, took me about over 1 month preparation with 2 kids at home, but it’s possible. Don’t give up.

    April 11th, 2024

Took the test today for the second time and passed. 53 questions and 3 labs (IPSEC, VRF, SNMP-2.) Best advice I can give is to know all the labs like the back of your hand. The time is tight so you have to KNOW what you’re going to do immediately. As for new questions, only about 4 but I can’t recall. Good luck.
