to those who passed the exam congrats and i am really confused cuz on cisco site they said there are 35-40 questions in the exam and all who passed they took about 12 tt, 3-4 mcq, and 1-2 DnD so here is where i get confused this all together not more than 20 q ,,is there another lab or just this one big topology for TT

hey, i have a questino concerning TTs. As far as i see a lot of them just states that:”Client cant connect to web server”, so for example i repair sth on DSW1 what was wrong,another thing on R2 and another one on some other router and now its working. But lets say question was about only R2′s problem. How can i know it? Will the question be more specific? for example”Client cant connect to web server , but IT staff predict sth wrong is with DSW1″ ? thanx for help..

Everything’s practically the same.
Tips to passing T-shoot
1.Make sure u cram networttut solution but please also learn the reasons for each ticket(if possible cram them).eg BGP neighborship-client 1 can ping R1 but not server, solution – 56 to 65-u know wat I mean!
2.Cisco can make things confusing sometimes so be patient b4 u make ur choice.Give room for mistakes.Write down ur answers to ur tickets.When u r so sure u can then choose.

As long as you use the right approach its a very simple exam

Hello people. I have completed my CCNP yesterday by passing TSHOOT with 982 points.
Missed one trouble ticked..:(
Everything from this site is on the exam, thanx NETWORKTUT.
For all the cry babies who scream for help, people: If you know routing and switching this exams is super easy. For all instant-cert guys, who want the papers but not the knowledge and skills, you don’t deserve the certification.
Stop searching for shortcuts and read the books and do the labs.

Does anyone know how many Multiple Questions are on the exam or can anyone give an estimate on how many the received on theirs? Are the tickets mostly what’s important? drag drops, how many? Just curious on how this test is mostly set up or scored.

Hi there I passed today with 1000/1000.The DnD were basically the same questions with additional options in them(instead of ftp the option was tftp and some other thing that i can’t remember together).The MCQ had the same questions but answers in a different way(don’t worry you can understand those).The trouble shoot was 13 tickets.I didn’t have eigrp AS ticket.In the port security ticket the port security was enabled for both the clients.There were some other small changes that i can’t remember properly.If you know the stuff it is easy to get through.Prepare well.Good luck to all.

This test isnt real world setting. At a job, your not expected to complete 13 tickets in two hours. Its not about knowing the material, its about knowing how to take a test like this. Ive been in networking for years, and missed the tshoot only becuase i didnt know what the hell Cisco wanted. And besides, your on this site too, so you must have needed the help too.

passed t.shoot today with 965.. no drag drop question. everything is same. but just got confuse in passive interface question.

I failed today, I got 601/1000 only, I am so sad, I found that there are 10 TT’s has the same title and same requested issue which is client 1 can not ping a certain IP, I couldn’t find the difference between every TT and the other one, can any one help.

Me and classmates took the test and passed on Friday (12 August 2011). The TT are still valid and the pinging (R1′s 10.1.1.1 and 10.1.1.2 to isolate R1 problems) strategy works and thanks to whoever posted it. The bug that was on DSW1 Vlan Filter answer has been fixed, u just need to scroll down to see the rest of the options. Good luck to everyone.

just passed the exam today986/1000. Just make full use of pinging the ip address. U do not need any dump do not waste time on them.

but i forget it ..

DD was different but about the same. So try not ot only memorize answers, but understand the meaning of questions.

I will have my exam in the 26th .. so i have about a day to study :D :D

Guys, I passed TSHOOT on 29th OCT, thanks to networktut. Still the dumps are valid. There were no Drag & Drop Q’s, got 4 to 5 MCQ’s & 13 TT’s, no EIGRP wrong AS TT.
