    @yemi:
Yes, but don’t get confused about the original PT Package TT#15 (IP Helper ticket) vs. the new (GRE) TT#15 Ticket – They’re both still in business, despite of equal Ticket numbers :)

Total – 16 TTs —- all tickets can be indentified by pinging from client 1 to any device

    1. Client 1 can ping webserver=== 3 IPv6 tickets or 1 HSRP ticket (easily identifiable as the questions would indicate the problem)
    2. Client 1 can ping R1 (10.1.1.1) or R2(10.1.1.2)====4 TTs on R1

3.Client 1 can ping Default Gateway or DSW1===3 TTs on R4

    4. Client 1 cant ping even Default Gateway or DSW1= 5 TTs

    a. client 1 & 2 cant ping each other — port security
    b. client 1 & 2 can ping each other but cant ping DSW1/Def. gateway– 4 TTs as below

    1. ASW1 access vlans=======check ASW1 interfaces fa1/0/1 & fa1/0/2 for “switchport access vlan 10 ” missing command

    2. ASW1 switch port trunk/switch to switch connectivity=====if “switchport access vlan 10 ” is present then check ASW1 Port channel 13 & 23 if vlan 10 is allowed or not.

    3. DSW1 vlan acccess map/vlan filter============= if ASW1 config is ok, check for VLAN access map in DSW1 which :DSW1 has a vlan filter10 that is dropping anything from passing through it on vlan 10

    4. R4 DHCP misconfiguration: if the above 3 configurations checks are ok, its the DHCP misconfiguration on R4.

This is the strategy i have prepared, where i we just need to ping all the devices from Client 1 to identify each tickets. I dont have a strategy for Layer2 tickets hence i am just going to check each device like ASW1, DSW1 etc for missing configuration.

  38. 1 more to go
    July 29th, 2015

I passed my exams today all the tickets, simlets and multiple choise questions are correct. I signed up for premium membership, tremendous help. Thanks Networktut and Ali. The 9.99 or 10 bucks was well worth it, better than failing it and retaking for another $250.
Had this question in my test today
    config is a bit different…
    interface PortChannel13
    switchport mode trunk
    switchport trunk allowed vlan 20,200
    !
    interface PortChannel23
    switchport mode trunk
    switchport trunk allowed vlan 20,200
This is same as ticket 9 Switchport trunk, where the switch port trunk allowed vlan 1-9, same answer i.e vlan 10,200.

memorize the configuration for devices r1-r4, asw1 and dsw1
    i passed with 1000 scores

Commands that I used, ping and show run

Strategy that I used, provided by Ali,

Write all faults under each device and memorize it.

1 If you can ping R1 SUCCESSFULLY look in R1 only for all tickets that says client 1 cannot ping web server

2.if you cannot ping R1 successfully and can Ping R2 successfully- look in R1 and the answer is ospf authentication message digest

    3. if you cannot ping R1 AND R2 look in asw1, R4, Dsw1 for the faults

    4. For all other tickets if you can ping the web server, look in R2,R3,R4 (these are all Ipv6 tickets)

A network administrator is troubleshooting an EIGRP connection between RouterA, IP address 10.1.2.1, and RouterB, IP address 10.1.2.2. Given the debug output on RouterA, which two statements are true? (Choose two.)
RouterA received a hello packet with mismatched autonomous system numbers.
RouterA received a hello packet with mismatched hello timers.
RouterA received a hello packet with mismatched authentication parameters.
RouterA received a hello packet with mismatched metric-calculation mechanisms. 
RouterA will form an adjacency with RouterB.
RouterA will not form an adjacency with RouterB. 

When troubleshooting an EIGRP connectivity problem, you notice that two connected EIGRP routers are not becoming EIGRP neighbors. A ping between the two routers was successful. What is the next thing that should be checked?
Verify that the EIGRP hello and hold timers match exactly.
Verify that EIGRP broadcast packets are not being dropped between the two routers with the show ip
    EIGRP peer command.
Verify that EIGRP broadcast packets are not being dropped between the two routers with the show ip
    EIGRP traffic command.
Verify that EIGRP is enabled for the appropriate networks on the local and neighboring router. 

Which IPsec mode will encrypt a GRE tunnel to provide multiprotocol support and reduced overhead?
    3DES
    multipoint GRE
    tunnel
    transport 

Which three features are benefits of using GRE tunnels in conjunction with IPsec for building site?to-site VPNs? (Choose three.)
allows dynamic routing over the tunnel 
supports multi-protocol (non-IP) traffic over the tunnel 
reduces IPsec headers overhead since tunnel mode is used
simplifies the ACL used in the crypto map 
uses Virtual Tunnel Interface (VTI) to simplify the IPsec VPN configuration

Which statement is true about an IPsec/GRE tunnel?
The GRE tunnel source and destination addresses are specified within the IPsec transform set.
An IPsec/GRE tunnel must use IPsec tunnel mode.
GRE encapsulation occurs before the IPsec encryption process. 
Crypto map ACL is not needed to match which traffic will be protected.

Multiple choice questions. The box mark at the end, marks the right answer. The only question not a part of this is traceroute. third from beginning. Good luck!!

    Hi networktut.com,
The different sections on the site only show the question number i.e Q1 with no description of the question or the answer. It only shows the explanation.
Do I have to become a member just to view the questions? It wasn’t like this till last week since I was preparing for my Switch exam and I could see all questions and answers with the details. For the past 2-3 days I am unable to see the questions or answer to the question…..just the explanation. Is it a problem with the site or is it the membership thing that you guys have introduced?

  47. Obaid
    August 12th, 2015

This is how it appears now:

    Question 1

    Explanation

From the last line “K-value mismatch” we learn that the K values of two EIGRP routers are mismatched and EIGRP neighborship between two routers will not be formed.

Note: EIGRP K values are the metrics that EIGRP uses to calculate routes. Mismatched K values can prevent neighbor relationships from being established. By default K1 & K3 are set to 1 while K2, K4 and K5 are set to 0. We can change the EIGRP K values via the “metric weights tos k1 k2 k3 k4 k5” command under EIGRP router mode (tos: type of service must always be zero). For example:

    Router(config-router)#metric weights 0 20 10 50 40 40
