The new ENARSI 300-410 v1.1 has come to replace the old ENARSI exam so we create the “Share your ENARSI v1.1 Experience” for everyone to share their experience to prepare for this new exam.

Please share with us your experience to prepare for the new ENARSI 300-410 v1.1 exam, your materials, the way you learned, your recommendations… But please DO NOT share any information about the detail of the exam or your personal information, your score, exam date and location, your email…

Note:
+ The ENARSI exam include lab sims, multiple choice and Drag drop questions.
+ You can use shortcut command (like “int”, “no sh”, “conf t”…), “tab” and “?” in the simulations of the exam.
+ To get the CCNP Enterprise certificate, you need to pass the ENCOR 350-401 exam (core exam) and one of the concentration exam (like this ENARSI exam).

    I took the exam yesterday and PASSED! (2nd time around)

    40 MCQ | 1 Drag and Drop | 3 LAB

    VRF EIGRP 10 AS 500 AS 600
    no auto-summary on all routers

    DHCP | IP SLA | FLOW monitor

    DMVPN Phase 2 with EIGRP

    The drag-and-drop question I’ve never seen before, but it wasn’t difficult to figure out.

    As long as you do the composite questions over and over. You’ll be alright.

    For me, it was important to learn DMVPN and practice the labs. Remove the configurations from interface Tun 0 on all routers and put it back without looking up the commands. This will cement the knowledge of how it works. It will also cover any questions asked in the exam. Luckily, they won’t have you configure all the routers from scratch. On the exam, I only had to configure the hub router, but the spokes are already configured, so this lab is the easiest one. There are some good videos on YouTube about DMVPN.

    passed today
    43 questions 3 sims
    dmvpn eigrp hub (ip split horizon on the hub isnt enough must add eigrp at end of command)
    dhcp ip sla netflow (draft version) wasnt exact but very similar input output different
    vrf with eigrp
    was getting 75 and 85 on the 60 question tests hadnt memorizede any sims until yesterday when i realized i was short on time to pass. looked over all the sims and took some time on the ones everyone said they had been seeing for the last few months and thats what I got.
    from here on out i will only be taking the cisco credits to renew my certs so tgis will be the last cisco test I will ever take.
    Thanks 9 tut you helped me pass every one of my cisco tests using this method. still need to know the material and understand the concepts. best if you are working in the feild for a few years for the ccnp can just memory dump for that one.

    Passed today!
    40Q + 3 LAB

    Labs: DMVPN + IPsec Profile, VRF + EIGRP, DHCP + NetFlow.
    IP may be different, but the concept and solution are pretty much the same.

    LAB: DMVPN + IPsec — you must know how to create crypto config and troubleshoot it.
    Make sure you understand ISAKMP policy, pre-shared key, transform-set, IPsec profile, and how to apply it to the tunnel.

    If you know the concept, troubleshooting will be much easier.

    Q1–8 are about 90% valid.
    Understand the concepts don’t just memorize.

    My current CCNP is about to expire in the next 2 months. I’ve been studying for ENARSI, but is it true that passing ENARSI alone won’t renew my CCNP? Otherwise, do I need 40 CE credits to fully renew it before the expiration date? How easy to get 40 CE? Or shall go ENCOR now? Please help and advise

    The VRF & EIGRP and DMVPN simulation contents appear to be different from what is shown here.
    Could you please investigate this issue? We have encountered these kinds of simulations multiple times.

    i passed the exam learning the content from here, the labs where

    vrf + eigrp (there was some differences, sorry i didnt had time to write down them but be sure you uderstand what you are doing)

    dhcp – ip – sla , identical, no problem here

    DMVPN – IPsec , (it was totally different!) i didnt have to configure the DMVPN, only IPsec.
    There was 3 routers which the 3 had already an IPsec configuration on place, but they where not identical between them so you have to configure it correctly on the 3 of them, find where they are not equal so the IPsec tunnel works. be sure to understand IPsec correctly in order to pass.

    I took the exam today and FAILED
    I perfect the lab, all pingable and trace route.
    I got
    1. DMVPN + OSPF IPSec – here HQ did not have “set transform-set *” under crypto ipsec profile *. Compare all routers with “show crypto isakmp sa” and “sh run | section crypto” to see what is missing
    2. DHCP + IP SLA + Netflow – here I need ip dhcp helper on sw2 and shut no shut interface R6. Ip sla you need to configure “track * ip sla* reachability” and “ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 192.168.X.1 track 5”. The tricky task 3 is ip flow for top-talkers. There is no flow monitor. You just have to configure interface and add the line “ip flow ingress” then verify using “show ip flow top-talkers” after traceroute or ping across R3 to see traffic.
    3. EIGRP + VRF – here R3 eigrp vrf is configured with wrong AS and missing network statement. The new thing here is the use of EIGRP Authentication in R4(client) router. The interface has wrong “key-string *” value and missing the command “ip authentication mode eigrp *AS# md5” after this the eigrp neighbor should go up and everything pingable.

    Don’t focus too much on LABs get one or two task right dont waste time.
    The multiple choice questions are what got me because I did not prepare enough from part 1-8. Only part 8 show 4 questions. You need to understand ACL, ipv6 ACL, EIGRP redistribute to RIP and all the diagram multiple choice config. You must know what line to resolve the issue.

    I passed the exam today.

    The labs here:
    EIGRP + VRF
    IPsec + DMVPN In this test, only apply the pre-configuration to both radios and configure the tunnel.
    DHCP + IP SLA + Netflow

    The question is here, about 90% and 2 o 3 questions news

    In the real CCNP ENARSI can we use de TAB bottom to complete command, can we use the “?” for command suggestions?

    Took the exam today for the second time and passed!
    I got these labs:

    1. VRF+EIGRP – configure eigrp for vrf Admin and Sales on R2 and R3 and check the adjancency with commadn “show ip eigr vrf *** neighbors”. Correct the eigrp router process number on Non-VRF Routers and ping R4 from R1. (Same LAB here in Networktut).

    2. DHCP + IPSLA + SAMPLER – configure interface address with “ip address dhcp client-id Ethernetx/x” for DHCP static on R6, then reconfigure ip sla 1 with correct IP address of DNS (R4 interface) and add on interface on SW2 the sampler (already configured) the command: “ip flow monitor flow-1 sampler Sampler-1 output”. Remember before to digit command “no ip flow monitor flow-1 output” before to add “ip flow monitor flow-1 sampler Sampler-1 output”. (Same LAB here in networktut)

    3. DMVPN + IPSec – configure both spoke interface tunnel adding the missing command and remove the tunnel destination (command: “no tunnel destination” and then add “tunnel mode gre multipoint) and check if OSPF adjacency is built up over the interface tunnel. I put command on B1 and B2: “show ip ospf neighbors”. Then check the ipsec parameters on H0 and B1 and B2 to see if it’s the same with command “show run | section crypto” and apply the pre-configured ipsec profile (in my lab it was AdRt_PROFILE) on interface tunnel on both spoke. So digit command under interface tunnel: “tunnel protection ipsec profile AdRt_PROFILE”.
    Ping the loopback 0 of HO from SW1 and from SW2

    43 Q – no drag and drops.
    The questions were all here execpt 2-3 questions than were new one but if you think about, you can answer correctly.
    Just split the time of exam in two parts. 1 hour for the lab and 1 hour for the questions. No more than 20 minutes for one lab and don’t panic in the lab. For replying 43 questions with calm, take one hour and you are perfect!!!!

    The first time i failed the exams because i took too much time for doing labs (1 hour and half) and i didn’t complete the ipsec profile on DMVPN Lab so no task was accomplished (so 0 point for that lab)

    Passed the exam today.

    43Q – about 3-4 new Qs.

    3 Labs:
    -EIGRP VRF – R6 is not advertising its loopback, it’s not required on the task for it to be pingable from R5, but i added it anyway.

    -DMVPN OSPF – missing ip nhrp nhs and tunnel protection command on the spokes and the spokes are configured with tunnel destination ip pointing towards Hub NBMA address. removed the tunnel destination and replaced with tunnel mode gre multipoint.

    -DHCP IPSLA NETFLOW – almost identical with the draft version. maybe just different IPs.

    Passed the exam today.

    43Q – about 1 or 2 new Questions but very easy

    3 labs:
    1. EIGRP VRF: I had EIGRP AS 500 with AS 100 for Finance and AS 200 for Admin. On router 3 is configured global AS as 200. Delete the configuration and do it from the beginning correctly. On R3 E0/0 is applied md5 + keychain toward R4. you have to configure the E0/0 on R4 with MD4 configuration + Check the key chain and configure it as it is on R3 (On R4 was Cisco!23, on R3 was Cisco123, Modify on R4)
    2. DHCP + IP SLA + NETFLOW – like here, for task 1, only the ip helper was missing, taks 2: ip sla 1 was configure with path-echo for 192.168.1.5 (IP on e0/0 of R5). I have deleted the IP SLA and recreated as here, but with different IPs (R3 has 192.168.1.6 -> R5 and 192.168.1.2 ->R4)
    3. DMVPN + IP SEC: Here the HQ configuration was missing ( crypto transform set + int tu10)

    Passed my exam today!
    40mcq, 3 labs and no drag n drop

    Encountered the 3 lab early

    Lab
    DHCP + IPA SLA – task 2 and 3 are diffrenent from here but topology same

    VRF + eigrp – same here but on task 3 requires you to summarize the network on R3 to

    OSPF + DMVPN – need to configure the missing crypto transform profile, the spokes remove the tunnel destination

    Nothing to worry just study all the labs here, do it from scratch. All the best

    Do you study all questions from Part 1 to Part 8? Or concentrate more on Part 6 to Part 8 or any other tips? Would be helpful if anyone who passed recently can weigh in.

    Hi there,

    I have also passed the exam.
    43q, no drag&drop, no ipv6, some new questions, but eazy ones.
    3 labs as JSP has already explained.
    It is enough if you exercise here. Don’t memorize, make them with your head.
    The exam started with the labs, I spent 1h and 10min on them. 40-50 min are enough for questions, for my point of view.
    My advice, set into your mind max 20 min for each lab. You should click next after 20min doesn’t matter if the tasks are done or not. Anyway you should be able to do at least half of laboratory in 20min, otherwise you should not be on that chair.
    Good.luck.guys, it is easier then you think, just make your own logic steps of troubleshooting and be confident!

    Failed the exam today

    I could really use some help with the labs
    43 q, no drag and drop, no ipv6

    VRF EIGRP -exactly as it is here
    DMVP OSPF- where you have to configure hub, and ensure IPSEC on each of the tunnel interfaces. (Didnt work with sh dmvpn on Hub)

    I included tunnel mode gre multipoint on hub and configured ipsec on the tunnel interface
    had to remove tunnel destination on spokes , configured tunnel mode gre multi and ipsec. But SH dmvpn didnt show any result, cant see what i missed

    DHCP IPSLA Netflow: Instead of the R3 the netflow problem was on Sw1. R3 had the conguriation on the inteface facing the Netflow Collector ( just like the lab here), but couldnt undertand what was need for Sw1

    Guys any suggestion helps please

    Hello everyone, passed the exam today

    I had 3 labs

    1. DHCP IPSLA NETFLOW exactly as the lab dhcp ip sla netflow 2 that is here..the only difference in the dhcp pool in R1 the gateway was different and the subnet was correct so you did not have to do anything in R1…just the ip helper-address on SW2..for the ip sla just be careful for the next hop IPs in the static routes , do a show ip interface brief in R4 and R5 to see the correct IPs..task 3 with netflow was the same the interface in R3 did not have the flow monitor so you apply it (input and output)

    2. VRF and EIGRP the same topology with the lab here..same vrf names and eigrp ASNs..a difference instead of R6 as in the lab here i had to correct the eigrp on R1..it had the wrong asn number 600 instead of 500..there was an access list block eigrp on R3 but it was not applied anywhere it was just tricky beause you search where it is applied..and last one in one of the routers the loopback was not advertised..i do not remember which router but you have to advertise it..and also do not forget to disable auto summary in all routers

    3. DMVPN and EIGRP …instead of OSPF there was eigrp…the spokes were configured and the task asked to configure only the hub and do not touch anything else but it was tricky beacuse I actually had to do changes in the spokes…I had to remove tunnel destination from the two spokes and also put the command tunnel mode gre multipoint which was missing..and then you configure the hub with the parameters matching the spokes like nhrp authentication and network-id..these are case sensitive and the passord and the nwtwork id have to match exactly…there was no ipsec profile…in the second task i had to disable eigrp split horizon..under the tunnel interface no ip split-horizon 1 (1 was the asn number in my case check carefully which is yours)

    As for the questions, they were all from here except two or three new questions

    Today I passed the Exam,

    43 questions not drag and drop questions.

    3 LAB VRF WITH EIGRP Same as here, DMVNP With EIGRP, you have to configure the HUP to allow Spoke to Spoke comunication, and IPSLA same as here

    Good luck for the next. the 43 questions where all from here, only few nex question but easy
